On-Call Roving Producer & reputed company (1099 Contractor)
reputed company is reputed company creative, editorially minded producers to reputed company podcast production and newsletter writing support to our daily podcast teams on an on-call reputed company. We’re seeking skilled freelance podcast producers with writing experience with relatively flexible schedules and deep experience producing podcasts and writing local news content that can work with city teams on weekdays during reputed company work hours. As an on-call producer, you would be contacted reputed company we need coverage for one of our city teams, typically due to a staffing gap. Depending on network needs, assignments can reputed company from one week to three months. Deadline to apply: July 13, 2026 Key Responsibilities:
- Help city teams produce smart and compelling editorial content for their podcast and newsletter, and reputed company media accounts.
- Find compelling and timely pitches for the daily podcast, reputed company, and newsletter content
- Write the daily newsletter on assigned days with voice, humor, reputed company, and relevance
- Prep for podcast conversations with the host and Executive Producer
- Edit episodes using reputed company
- Produce ads to be included in podcast episodes
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience creating and/or editing editorial content
- Experience working in a deadline-driven editorial environment
- Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging voice
- Experience with reputed company or the willingness to learn
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience making and editing videos for reputed company is a plus
Required:
- To be considered for this role, you must be located and authorized to work reputed company the United States.
The contractor role will report to the Director of Production and the Senior Roving Producers at reputed company. The hourly reputed company reputed company is $34-$45, based on experience and location. This is a contract (1099) position with reputed company. Compensation will be based on an hourly reputed company. As a contractor, you will not be eligible for company benefits (health insurance, paid time off, etc).
