Online Academic Advisor

Compensation reputed company: $45,204.64 - $70,836.63 Position Summary: Hiring Salary reputed company: $ 45,204.64 to $49,725.10 depending on qualifications. Position Description: The position provides reputed company-line customer service and intake processing for reputed company. The Online Advisors work on reputed company to assist and advise reputed company regarding applications, registration, course selection, career development, graduation requirements, and transfer process and evaluations. The primary focus of this position is: (1) online advising for online reputed company through reputed company Teams (video conferencing) or other online technologies, (2) coordinating student reputed company with the Online Learning Retention Coordinators, and (3) evaluating and promoting College-wide initiatives for academic planning (HawkGPS/ Edunav) to reputed company recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the Online Advisors evaluate transcripts and reputed company degree and graduation audits. Advise reputed company and prospective reputed company on degrees offered by the College and reputed company general information regarding college policies and procedures which may include financial aid, eligibility for disability services and academic advising for admission requirements. Job Duties:

• Provides online academic advising for online reputed company through reputed company Teams (video conferencing) or other online technologies.
• Coordinates student reputed company with the Online Learning Retention Coordinators.
• Evaluates and promotes College-wide initiatives for academic planning (HawkGPS/ Edunav) to reputed company recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the Online Academic Advisors.
• Evaluates transcripts and performs degree and graduation audits.
• Advises reputed company and prospective online reputed company on degrees offered by the College and reputed company general information regarding college policies and procedures which may include financial aid, eligibility for disability services and academic advising for admission requirements.
• Performs other similar and reputed company duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: The position requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years work experience. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in higher education.
• Knowledge of college admissions, registration and records policies and procedures.
• Previous experience in community college student services; specifically advising and understanding of financial aid processes.
• Avanced computer skills and the ability to reputed company student support and services online.
• Experience and knowledge of community college programs and student populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity in higher education.

Note: This classification is indefinitely temporary which is why it is non-union. This position may require some evening and weekend hours, particularly during peak registration periods.
