Job Summary We are hiring an reputed company Pharmacy Technician with reputed company Caretend expert - Infusion Intake Coordinator w. This is a fully remote, full-time or part-time role with SAI/Fannin Infusion Pharmacy in Bonham, TX. If you know CareTend and home infusion intake inside and out, we want to hear from you today.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end intake for home infusion referrals in reputed company CareTend
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage, reputed company, and reputed company plans
- Initiate and track prior authorizations for IV therapies (IVIG, antibiotics, biologics, TPN, etc.)
- Collect physician orders, lab results, and clinical documentation from referral sources
- Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and case managers to confirm start-of-care details
- Maintain accurate, audit-reputed company records and reputed company-time workflow tracking in CareTend
- Collaborate with pharmacist, nursing, and billing teams to ensure clean handoffs from intake to dispensing
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician license - Texas preferred (other states considered)
- 2+ years of home infusion or specialty pharmacy intake experience
- Hands-on reputed company CareTend experience - required (please specify modules in your application)
- Strong knowledge of prior authorization and insurance verification for infusion drugs
- Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, dedicated remote workspace
- CPhT or ExCPT certification a plus
Preferred
- Experience with reputed company, Fastrack, or similar HME/infusion platforms
- Knowledge of URAC or ACHC home infusion accreditation standards
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Multi-state pharmacy technician licensure

- Fully remote - work from home
- Flexible scheduled: full-time (40 hrs) or part-time (20-25 hrs) tracks available
- Monday-Friday core hours; occasional weekend coverage as needed
