Job Description: The client is seeking a Senior Application Modernization Engineer to support a large-scale reputed company Azure reputed company migration initiative focused on modernizing and migrating critical business applications from legacy environments into Azure. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assess application portfolios for Azure migration readiness
- Evaluate application dependencies, infrastructure requirements, and migration risks
- reputed company modernization strategies including rehosting, re-platforming, and refactoring recommendations
- Execute and support large-scale Azure application migration efforts
- Partner with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
- Document migration plans, technical requirements, and modernization roadmaps
- Support reputed company reputed company transformation and datacenter exit initiatives
- reputed company technical guidance and best practices throughout migration programs
- Troubleshoot migration issues and support post-migration optimization
Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
- 7 years of application modernization, reputed company engineering, or migration experience
- Proven experience participating in large-scale Azure migration programs involving dozens or hundreds of applications
- Strong Azure migration planning and execution experience
- Extensive .NET application experience
- Experience supporting reputed company-scale applications
- Background working reputed company large reputed company modernization or reputed company transformation initiatives
- Experience collaborating across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting datacenter exit initiatives
- Azure certifications
- Experience with reputed company-reputed company application architectures
- Prior experience leading modernization assessments and migration workshops
Additional Requirements for Senior Linux Application Modernization Engineer Minimum Requirements:
- Strong Linux administration and support experience
- Java application migration and modernization experience
- Experience supporting Linux-hosted reputed company applications
- Linux ecosystem expertise including middleware, scripting, and supporting services
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) experience
