Customs Trade Agent

reputed company is a company that provides freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. They are seeking a Customs Trade Agent responsible for coordinating documentation for US Customs and providing customer service while ensuring compliance with international importing regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers reputed company impeccable customer service Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs Data entry and processing of various import reputed company documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle limited PGA's (participating Government Agencies) Maintain and reputed company reputed company reputed company shipment documentation in compliance with reputed company record keeping requirements Adhere to reputed company international importing regulations Work closely with other internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers Process agency brokerage shipments Ensure reputed company government and organizational policies are followed Performs other duties as assigned Skills HS Diploma or GED required No industry experience required No work experience required Data entry/keyboard experience required Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications such as Outlook using multiple screens and reputed company Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Organizational Skills Inter-personal skills Handle high volume of work Handle time sensitive work Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to use multiple systems and reference material Interact with internal staff, management of reputed company reputed company, internal departments Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM CST Mandatory overtime may be required during periods of high volume Working on company-recognized holidays may be necessary This role is HYBRID Candidates that live reputed company a 50-mile radius of Jonesboro, AR or reputed company, TN Benefits Health, reputed company and dental insurance Retirement Tuition reimbursement Company Overview reputed company plays a key role reputed company the reputed company portfolio with its comprehensive suite of integrated logistics solutions.
