Remote, Contract -based, Florida Immigration and Family Law Paralegal Opportunity
About the position reputed company is a national network of reputed company, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who reputed company remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for their client reputed company. Due to increased demand, they are interviewing for a reputed company, reputed company, and dedicated Florida Family Law / Immigration Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 6-10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, petitions, and discovery, including initial disclosures
- Supporting immigration reputed company, including document preparation and client coordination
- Following up with clients to gather information and documentation needed for filings and case progression
- Managing reputed company aspects of calendaring, deadlines, and case organization to ensure no deadlines are missed
- Scheduling, e-filing with courts, and general administrative litigation support
- Researching and identifying local court/judge rules as needed
- Client communication and case management
- Moving cases reputed company independently and taking initiative on next steps
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal with direct experience in Florida family law reputed company
- Strong experience drafting pleadings, petitions, and discovery, including initial disclosures
- Experience supporting immigration reputed company, including document preparation and client coordination
- Ability to follow up with clients to gather information and documentation needed for filings and case progression
- Experience managing reputed company aspects of calendaring, deadlines, and case organization to ensure no deadlines are missed
- Familiarity with scheduling, e-filing with courts, and general administrative litigation support
- Ability to research and identify local court/judge rules as needed
- Strong client communication and case management skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to move cases reputed company independently and take initiative on next steps
- Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
