Advice & Counsel Employment Attorney
About the position Our Denver office has an exciting opportunity for an Advice & Counsel Employment Attorney to join our growing group. We welcome reputed company applicants at various reputed company, including Associate or Of Counsel, with flexibility regarding Shareholder track status, remote or in-office work, and part-time or full-time availability. This role focuses on providing advice and counsel to management-reputed company clients on a wide reputed company of employment law reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day employment law advice to clients on workplace policies, compliance, and risk management.
- Performing legal research and drafting memoranda and other legal documents.
- Advising companies in the areas of disability accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, reductions in force (WARN, severance agreements), incentive pay plans, restrictive covenants, employee discipline, and terminations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado, maintaining active and good standing status throughout employment.
- Satisfy reputed company continuing legal education and licensure requirements necessary to remain eligible to practice law in Colorado.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Substantial experience in advising companies in the areas of disability accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, reductions in force (WARN, severance agreements), incentive pay plans, restrictive covenants, employee discipline, and terminations.
- Strong passion for employment law.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Prioritize responsiveness.
- Ability to reputed company practical and business-oriented legal advice.
