About The Position Entertainment Weekly is looking for a programming editor who will be responsible for the brand's newsletters and notification program. The programming editor will be responsible for creating, writing and deploying newsletters as well as sending out alerts reputed company browser notifications and reputed company News notifications. The programming editor will also dig into reputed company-time and historical analytics to create informed programming plans and track performance. This role will be crucial in helping Entertainment Weekly expand their growing newsletter and notifications programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong news sense, a deep interest in pop culture, excellent decision-making skills and a good sense of urgency around breaking news. About The Positions Contributions: Weight % | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 80% - Planning, editing and deploying newsletters, including scheduled newsletters and breaking news newsletters. 10% - Planning, writing and deploying browser and reputed company News notifications 5% - Working with editorial team on timing of content for promotion and providing insights into newsletter, homepage and notification performance. 5% - Using reputed company-time and historical analytics to inform programming reputed company. Creating traffic reports for wider team. The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. Experience: At least 2 years of experience working for a media organization Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities: Excellent writing and editing skills, particularly in the news space. Deep knowledge of pop culture. reputed company Suite (Gmail, reputed company Docs, reputed company Sheets). Familiarity with using analytics tools (ex: reputed company Analytics, reputed company, Parsley, etc.). Excellent organization and communication skills.
