Strategic Sourcing Contracts Manager
Job Description:
- lead and execute vendor sourcing negotiations for projects and purchases
- perform review, redlining and negotiation of vendor contracts
- lead vendor negotiations ensuring compliance with Finance requirements
- leverage legal expertise for contracts negotiated by the sourcing team
- interact with RSM leaders for contract language and objectives
- coach functional leaders on negotiation tactics
- assist in contract interpretation related to termination provisions and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years strategic sourcing experience
- 3 years project management experience
- Experience leading negotiation of vendor agreements
- Knowledge of information technology concepts
- Knowledge of privacy concepts
- strong analytical and contract negotiation skills
- strong price analysis and modeling skills
- contract redlining to effectively review and negotiate changes to legal agreements
- basic knowledge of Excel, Word and word processing skills
- superior oral and written communication skills
- ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
