Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Operations: Manage check‑ins and check‑outs for both human and pet guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet visitors with a genuine smile, answer general inquiries, and provide tours of the facility, highlighting our unique amenities and safety protocols.
  • Phone & Communication: Answer and route incoming calls professionally, take reservations, and follow up with guests to confirm appointments and special requests.
  • Animal Care Support: Follow detailed instructions to feed, hydrate, and comfort animal guests, monitoring their well‑being and reporting any concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the lobby, corridors, and animal areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with staff scheduling, manage booking calendars, and ensure optimal utilization of kennel spaces.
  • Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, update guest files, and generate reports for management review.
  • Social Media Engagement: Capture high‑quality photos of happy pets and share them on arenaflex’s social platforms to showcase our community and attract new guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with animal care specialists, housekeeping, and management to deliver a cohesive, five‑star experience.
  • Flexibility & Availability: Be prepared to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) to meet the needs of our guests.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or animal science is a plus.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience working with animals, preferably in a boarding, grooming, or veterinary setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and carry 40 pounds or more, and to stand or walk for eight consecutive hours.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including reservation software and basic office applications.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable handling dogs on leashes and interacting with pets in environments that may contain disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in pet first aid or animal behavior.
  • Experience in a high‑traffic hospitality or front‑desk role.
  • Knowledge of animal body language and the ability to interpret stress signals.
  • Previous exposure to social media content creation or photography.
  • Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse guest population.
