[Remote] Lead Analyst, Healthcare Analytics (Data Stewardship & Enterprise Reporting) - Remote

Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a Lead Analyst in Healthcare Analytics who will serve as a data steward with expertise in Medical Economics data assets. The role involves designing data structures, translating business needs into data requirements, and ensuring data quality and validation.

Responsibilities

Performs research and analysis of complex healthcare data (eligibility, claims, auths etc.) Acts as the designated data steward for assigned domains Maintain and evolve business definitions, data logic and rules Apply deep subject matter expertise to ensure data reflects real-world business processes Translates business needs into clear, structured data requirements and logic Identify and resolve ambiguities, inconsistencies, and gaps in definitions Partner with stakeholders to align on intended meaning vs actual implementation Contributes to data model design and evolution Builds design prototypes Provides detailed requirements to engineering for implementation Defines and execute data validation and quality checks Investigates anomalies and discrepancies across systems Drives resolution with appropriate teams (engineering, source system owners, etc.) Maintain clear, structured documentation to ensure traceability between business intent and data implementation Support downstream users (reporting, actuarial, finance) in understanding and using data correctly Has experience working with large-scale healthcare datasets Understands healthcare economics and operations Pays strong attention to details with ability to see the big picture Communicates clearly and concisely Escalates cross-domain conflicts, prioritization trade-offs, and strategic decisions to Manager/Director Operates effectively within defined ownership structures Proactively identifies and resolves issues, not wait for direction Skills Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science 6+ years of progressive responsibilities in Data, Finance or Systems Analysis Expert knowledge with SQL Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Computer Science Experience in Medical Economics Business stakeholder management Familiarity with Python, R or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Experience with service categorization Deep auth data knowledge Benefits Molina Healthcare offers a competitive benefits and compensation package.
