Channel Account Manager, NorCal
Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs Channel-led growth remains a core lever in B2B SaaS, particularly for products sold through MSPs, VARs, and distributors. This Channel Account Manager role stands out because it sits directly at the intersection of partner ecosystems and a move upstream toward larger mid-market and enterprise buyers, where repeatable partner motions can materially change distribution and deal flow. For a SaaS career, partner work builds a durable go-to-market skill set that travels well across categories: designing enablement that actually gets used, aligning field sales with indirect routes to market, and translating product value into partner-friendly narratives. Owning regional planning, pipeline discipline, and forecasting also develops the operating cadence common in mature SaaS revenue orgs, where channel performance is measured as rigorously as direct sales. This role is best suited to professionals who enjoy building relationships that compound over time and who prefer structured execution over one-off wins. It will fit someone comfortable working across sales, marketing, and product to remove friction for partners, and someone who can balance autonomy in a territory with tight coordination alongside Account Executives. The section above is editorial commentary from The SaaS Jobs, provided to help SaaS professionals understand the role in a broader industry context.
