- Document Management: Prepare, review, and submit all required paperwork for international air and ocean shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and client requirements.
- Operational Support: Assist senior operations staff with the execution of global logistics strategies, including scheduling, carrier selection, and route optimization.
- Cargo Tracking & Visibility: Monitor inbound and outbound freight in real time, using industry‑standard platforms to provide accurate status updates to internal teams and external clients.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering timely updates, answering inquiries, and proactively addressing concerns throughout the shipping lifecycle.
- Cost Analysis & Quoting: Analyze transport costs, generate competitive quotes, and assist the finance team with accurate invoicing and cost‑to‑serve calculations.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot transportation disruptions, paperwork discrepancies, or customs holds, escalating to senior staff when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
