The total rewards package for this role includes a competitive salary.   Customer Service Representative / Call Center Remote Join our AAA Northern New England Emergency Roadside Team! Call Center Remote Opportunity! Starting at $17.85 per hour (plus weekend shift differential of 10% = $19.64 per hour) Full Time: 40 hours per week Cover Shift and Swing Shift Hours Available - (Start times could be from 10 am to as late as 7:30 pm) for an 8-hour shift. Virtual On-Line Paid Training for 7 weeks: July training dates available Applicants must live within 100 miles of Portland, ME Bilingual- fluent in Spanish an additional $1.00 increase to salary (fluency test provided) We are looking for Emergency Roadside Specialists to process requests for roadside assistance as part of our fast-paced, member service organization, demonstrating concern for member safety and effectively diffusing high tension situations. You will have approximately 7 weeks of paid remote training to prepare you to provide legendary service to our members! All equipment will be provided to you prior to training. ;u Qualifications ;/u Successful candidates in the role possess resiliency in diffusing high stress situations. Ability to provide excellent customer service to 100 member calls a day. You must have the ability to directly connect to ISP via Ethernet (no wireless, DSL, Satellite or Hot Spots etc.) Modem/Router must be in the same room as the computer equipment. Minimum 25 mbps download; 5 mbps upload. You ll need a passion for helping people, and the desire to exceed member expectations in a structured, goal-oriented environment. Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills provide success. Requires 1 year of previous customer service experience. Call Center experience is preferred, but not mandatory. High School diploma, GED or equivalent along with the successful completion of background and drug screening mandatory.
