REMOTE TAX ACCOUNTANT
About the position Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation.
- Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers.
- Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
- Experience using commercial tax preparation software.
- Possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
