About the position The Remote HEDIS Customer Service Representative (CSR) position at TEKsystems involves coordinating the retrieval of medical records from provider offices and hospitals. Responsibilities
- Call provider offices & hospitals to request medical records.

- Record progress and data entry in abstraction tool.
,
- Coordinate with Administrative Lead and Medical record reviewers to manage caseload.
,
- Work as a team member to organize medical records and resources for MRR processes.
,
- Make follow-up calls regarding expected charts and provide information to offices.
,
- Send fax requests to providers.
,
- Research provider information and claims using online websites/internal applications.
,
- Daily use of Microsoft Excel to manage projects and report to leads on progress and barriers.
,
- Persevere to find the correct information to retrieve medical records.
,
- Perform other duties as assigned, including possible minimal traveling.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Healthcare experience.
,
- 3 years of Medical Records/Case Management preferred.
,
- Experience in Medical Record Retrieval.
,
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service within the healthcare industry.

- Computer literacy.
