Remote Occupational Therapy in OR
A contract opportunity is available for an occupational therapy professional specializing in school-based services through telehealth and teletherapy. This role is designed for those with experience supporting children’s developmental and functional needs in educational settings. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services via teletherapy platforms to support students' fine and gross motor skill development.
- Collaborating with educators and school personnel to create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting interventions to achieve therapy goals.
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with school guidelines and regulations.
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience.
- Proficiency in telehealth and teletherapy service delivery, particularly within school environments.
- Strong knowledge of fine motor and gross motor skill development in children.
