Clinical Practice Performance Consultant Remote | Wilmington, NC region | Travel up to 75% At UnitedHealthcare, we’re helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone. In this role, you will partner with OB providers, local health departments, and community programs to improve maternal health outcomes and care delivery across your region. What you’ll do
- Analyze program performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with OB providers and local health departments to meet quality and program goals
- Lead meetings to review performance, share insights, and align on action plans
- Provide guidance on best practices, population health, and quality improvement strategies
- Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for clinical and community partners
- Collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to drive results
- Support community outreach and engagement activities
What you’ll bring Required
- 3+ years working with maternity populations in an OB or public health setting
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and presenting to clinical audiences
- 2+ years supporting Medicaid populations
- Experience leading discussions, influencing stakeholders, and solving complex problems
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to travel locally up to 75%
Preferred
- Program or performance management experience
- Knowledge of HEDIS, NCQA, or related quality standards
- Experience in value based or pay for performance programs
