Based out of our Orlando-area facility, this individual will play a pivotal role in managing one of the most prestigious and high-visibility accounts in our portfolio — a relationship that demands world-class partnership management, strategic thinking, and exceptional execution.

Position Summary

As the Customer Account Manager (CAM) – Strategic Disney Account, you will serve as the primary architect of the customer relationship, responsible for identifying and maximizing profitable sales opportunities across the Disney account. You will develop and execute customer business plans and promotional programs that align with both the customer's strategic objectives and arenaflex's broader system goals.

This role is far more than traditional account management — it is a strategic partnership role where you will deeply understand the complexities of the channel and customer business, build enduring relationships at multiple levels within the customer's organization, and consistently deliver mutual value. Our core values of trust, integrity, and collaborative excellence must be evident in every interaction, every negotiation, and every plan you develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Planning: Develop a customized, annual business plan that directly addresses the critical needs of the customer while delivering on arenaflex's budgeted profit and volume targets.
  • Collaborative Pricing Strategy: Partner closely with the customer and Channel leadership to design a yearly price/package architecture that creates win-win outcomes for both the customer and arenaflex.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with internal Business Partners across Revenue Growth Management (PGM), Marketing, and Finance to develop programming that accelerates incremental business and exceeds program objectives.
  • Post-Promotional Analysis: Conduct rigorous post-promotional analysis to measure success levels of all promotional activities, identify learnings, and make necessary adjustments to future price/package plans.
  • Marketing Execution: Sell-in and implement local, regional, and national marketing strategies that drive category growth and strengthen brand presence.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on your assigned customer and/or channel, communicating weekly with frontline sales management to align on promotional plans, display commitments, and goal achievement against assigned metrics.
  • Insights-Driven Action: Partner with Category Management to leverage key market and customer insights, translating them into specific actions that positively influence customer buying patterns and accelerate growth.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for new business opportunities and the renegotiation of existing contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnership sustainability.
  • Forecasting and Risk Management: Manage customer/channel forecasts to ensure alignment with business trends while proactively mitigating risks related to product supply issues.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in the consumer goods industry.
  • Account Management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple key accounts simultaneously, with a track record of revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Fluency: Hands-on experience working with Nielsen and other syndicated data sources to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Business Planning Expertise: Proven success in developing annual business plans and price/package strategies for retail customers.
  • Adaptability: A true change agent who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Selling Methodologies: Strong command of Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling, and advanced Account Management techniques.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of consumer goods and the beverage industry, including key trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Customer Focus: Deep commitment to customer-centric thinking and delivering exceptional value.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual capabilities are preferred and highly valued.
  • Negotiation Influence: Demonstrated success influencing effective negotiations and selling outcomes with retailers.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
