As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network security arrangements that safeguard our systems and data. You will work collaboratively with our teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, develop and implement security protocols, and provide training to clients on the use of our key cybersecurity systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance to application and partner teams to remediate security vulnerabilities, risk items, and policy exceptions
• Deliver training to clients on the use of our key cybersecurity systems and automated environments
• Identify cybersecurity issues, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and guide advancements in a precise manner to meet business requirements
• Manage rapid response and support to production program issues
• Collaborate with production testers to identify defects and complete testing
• Test and implement system upgrades using methods that safeguard system integrity
• Partner to maintain systems, manage acceleration issues, and standard functionality
• Investigate possible defects, and complete fixes, and modify features to business support
• Maintain established processes and standards to ensure high-quality and quantity of work
• Collaborate and lead communication within internal and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
• May perform other work duties as directed by Supervisor's Chiefs

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. You should also have experience with Agile methodologies and be skilled in at least one scripting and development language, such as Python, Go, or Javascript.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of at least one existing component in the value pipeline, such as PingFederate, eDirectory, Dynamic Registry, CyberArk, or Micro Focus IDM
• Experience with cloud computing technologies and concepts, such as AWS
• Skilled in infrastructure as-code (IaC) development (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and automated configuration management involving configuration as-code (CaC) development (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar)
• Proficient in implementing cybersecurity-specific unit tests for components
• Skilled in execution, logging, and cybersecurity monitoring tools
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
