Senior Talent & People Specialist

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

About Vitally Vitally is a Customer Success Platform built for modern CS teams. We help CS organizations run smarter - better visibility into customer health, more efficient workflows, and stronger collaboration across the post-sale team. We are a roughly 70-person company with a strong culture, ambitious roadmap, and a people-first mindset. Our HR function is growing to match our scale, and we are looking for someone who can help us hire great people while contributing to the broader employee experience. The Role This is a hands-on, high-impact role on Vitally's People team. The majority of your time (approximately 70%) will be focused on full-cycle recruiting across the organization, with a strong emphasis on technical hiring. You will partner closely with hiring managers to attract and close exceptional talent. The remaining 30% of your time will support broader HR and people operations work, making you a true generalist partner to the team. You will report directly to the Associate HR Director and serve as a critical member of a lean, high-functioning HR team. This is an ideal role for someone who leads with recruiting instincts, thrives with ownership and autonomy, and genuinely wants to grow into the broader people function over time. You will not be handed a playbook — you will help write it.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition (70%) Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across the company, from intake through offer, including sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing Partner with hiring managers to build scorecards, define success profiles, and run structured interview processes Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, networks, and creative outreach strategies Manage candidate experience end-to-end with a high bar for communication, speed, and professionalism Maintain recruiting pipelines and data hygiene in our ATS, and report on key hiring metrics Help build and refine our recruiting infrastructure as we scale, including interview guides, job descriptions, and offer processes People Operations (30%) Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for employees Assist with HR compliance tasks, documentation, and policy administration Help coordinate culture and engagement programming including events, Lunch and Learns, and employee recognition Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and escalate appropriately Support the Associate HR Director on ad hoc people projects and initiatives What We're Looking For 4 to 6 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a track record of successfully running full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment Experience recruiting at a startup or high-growth tech company, ideally in the SaaS space Strong sourcing skills and comfort building pipelines from scratch, not just managing inbound applicants Some exposure to HR generalist work, whether through formal experience or genuine curiosity and initiative Highly autonomous self-starter who takes full ownership of the recruiting function without needing to be managed to outcomes Go-getter energy: you move fast, follow through, and hold yourself accountable Collaborative working style with a low-ego approach to teamwork Comfort with ambiguity and a builder mentality Genuine ambition to grow beyond recruiting into the broader people function over time Curiosity about how AI and automation can improve the recruiting and people experience (we are actively building in this space and want someone who wants to build alongside us)

Nice to Have

Experience with people ops tools such as ATS (JazzHR), Slack workflows, or HRIS platforms (JustWorks) SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification Hands-on experience with AI tools or workflow automation, or a genuine interest in applying AI to people-focused processes This is a remote role (NYC is always a plus!) Benefits & Culture Salary: We offer a competitive salary for your experience as well as location. The comp band for this role is 110k-130k USD. Equity: We want every team member invested in the company’s success and are happy to be generous with equity. Benefits:100% of health/dental/vision insurance premiums covered by us. 401k through Empower Unlimited PTO with a minimum we require you to take off. Please relax and recharge! Flexible work hours and work-from-home policy. Yearly education stipend. Culture: We are committed to a productive and respectful work environment. Culturally, the team is extremely friendly, fun, hard-working, intelligent, and mature. That said, while we're young and scrappy as a team, we don't believe in building a startup cult. We like each other, we support each other, we're a focused team that busts our asses at work, and we enjoy hanging out from time to time-- but we enjoy having our own lives outside of Vitally.
