SALESFORCE AUTOMATION QA ENGINEER
Job Title: Salesforce Automation QA Engineer Location: Trivandrum / Kochi / Remote (India) Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end quality assurance processes. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality Salesforce implementations and releases. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning components.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
- Perform API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Analyze business requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Execute test cycles and provide detailed status reports to stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation execution through Jenkins or similar tools.
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with cross-functional teams to validate integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce Testing.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Experience with TestNG, Maven, and automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Experience in API testing using REST Assured or Postman.
- Experience with Jira and defect management tools.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related).
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to performance testing tools is an added advantage.
