Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ClearBridge Technology Group is seeking a Senior Technical Writer for their financial services client in New York. The role involves creating deployment guides, reference architectures, and operational runbooks for VMware VCF engineering and deployment teams, leveraging technical knowledge and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- The consultant will work remotely in support of the VMware VCF engineering and deployment teams to create deployment guides, reference architectures and operational runbooks for complex private and hybrid cloud environments
- The consultant will be responsible for interviewing technical experts, gathering details, and leveraging their VMware technical knowledge to create documentation that simplifies the complex, using Jira, Git, Confluence and strong technical writing & communication skills
Skills
- 4+ years' technical writing experience
- Strong knowledge of VCF – VMware Cloud Foundation
- Understanding of vSphere, vSAN and NSX topologies
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to create documentation and runbooks for a broad audience
- This role requires passing a background check prior to starting
