[Remote] Okta Technical Consultant (Auth0 / CIAM)

The Okta Technical Consultant will be responsible for implementing and deploying Auth0-based CIAM solutions, ensuring secure and scalable authentication experiences for enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Auth0 solutions
- Design and implement secure authentication flows (login, signup, social login, passwordless)
- Integrate applications using OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT-based authentication
- Build and customize identity experiences using Auth0 SDKs and APIs
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and modern web technologies
- Work across cloud-native and hybrid environments to deliver CIAM solutions
- Manage multiple customer projects, ensuring quality delivery and timelines
- Mentor customers and development teams on best practices for CIAM implementations
- Collaborate with Engineering and Support teams to resolve complex issues
- Contribute to delivery best practices and reusable frameworks
Skills
- Valid Auth0 Developer Certification/ Okta Consultant Certification
- 3–5 years of experience in IAM, CIAM, or application security
- Strong hands-on experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and token-based authentication (JWT)
- Proven experience with Auth0 implementations
- Strong development background (JavaScript, Node.js, or similar technologies)
- Experience working with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js, etc.)
- Understanding of identity lifecycle and access management concepts
- Experience working in customer-facing or consulting roles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Auth0 features and CIAM use cases
- Experience with mobile authentication (iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with API security and microservices architectures
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of identity governance concepts
- CISSP or similar security certifications
