[Remote] Delivery Consultant I - Virtual

They are seeking a Delivery Consultant I to oversee accounting reconciliations for defined contribution clients, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables while managing operations team outputs and supporting colleague development.
Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the completion and delivery of accounting related services for Defined Contribution clients, particularly cash and investment reconciliations
- Providing oversight of accounting work performed by operations teams in a virtual environment
- Meeting regularly with operations managers in accounting delivery
- Performing all associated accounting tasks for select clients with contractual requirements
- Monitoring client delivery metrics related to accounting services. Understand contractual service level requirements
- Leveraging metrics to improve results
- Consulting internally and with clients as appropriate regarding accounting-related topics associated with plan design changes, acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures
- Reviewing work prior to releasing it to the client team/client (as needed)
- Supporting client plan audits and reporting
- Identifying training opportunities and implementing necessary action steps by working alongside performance team managers
- Conducting root cause analysis to understand gaps in administration that could impact money flow. Suggesting and implementing improvement opportunities
- Maintaining awareness of financial impacts to client, their plan and Alight related to quality & timeliness of accounting related tasks and money movement
- Defining actions and follow-up oversight with related performance teams and external parties as needed

- Possess accounting skills
- Possess an understanding of defined contribution domain
- Apply effective communication skills; client listening and consulting
- Able to work with virtual teams in and outside of the U.S
- Demonstrate coaching experience and familiarity with feedback approaches
- Exhibit analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to consult and drive decisions to resolve reconciliation & funding situations
- Possess an understanding of the Shared Service groups and ability to work with/leverage them effectively
- Learn and utilize internal policies, tools, and resources including Wealth Solutions operational best practices
