[Remote] Sr. Full Stack Engineer, Software Platform
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mirion Technologies is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer for their Software Platform team. The role involves leading the technical design and architecture of software products, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and architecture for products within the Software Platform team
- Design, implement, and maintain end to end software systems, spanning the entire product vertical: front-end engineering, back-end engineering, cloud engineering, testing / test automation, and system administration
- Design, implement, and maintain observability, monitoring, and alerting systems, to ensure reliability, availability of software products
- Own code review process and enforce engineering standards across the team
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
- Help design and drive the team’s operational processes: including agile methodologies, support functions, and incident response processes
Skills
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, with professional experience in frontend, backend, and cloud engineering
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services
- Strong Terraform skills, including module development and state management
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Strong communication skills: written, public speaking, and interpersonal
- Familiarity with security and compliance in cloud environments
- A product-driven mindset, putting customer experience and value first
- Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling
- Experience building IoT applications
- Experience building applications deployed to air-gapped or offline environments
