[Remote] Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AEM (Advanced Environmental Monitoring) is the global leader in innovative mission critical weather, wildfire and water monitoring and intelligence solutions. The Senior Manager of Product Marketing will own positioning, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement across a global suite of environmental monitoring products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positioning and messaging frameworks across AEM's product portfolio, translating technical capabilities into buyer-relevant value propositions
  • Ensure positioning holds up in competitive sales cycles and reflects how buyers actually make decisions
  • Own competitive intelligence as an ongoing discipline, not a one-time project
  • Monitor competitor positioning, product developments, and go-to-market moves across the environmental monitoring industry
  • Synthesize findings into usable briefs and enable sales with current, credible differentiation
  • Build and maintain the sales enablement library: battle cards, one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and objection-handling guides
  • Ensure field teams have current, on-message materials that reflect actual product positioning and competitive reality
  • Work closely with sales leadership to understand where the gaps are and close them
  • Plan and execute product and feature launches end to end, from internal readiness through external announcement
  • Coordinate across Product, Sales and Marketing to land launches with impact
  • Train and prepare sales and support teams ahead of new product introductions
  • Contribute to AEM's thought leadership presence through bylines, speaking abstracts, white papers, and campaign messaging
  • Help define the narrative that differentiates AEM in a competitive market
  • Provide messaging and copy support across web, campaigns, press releases, and partner communications
  • Serve as a positioning and content resource for the broader marketing team

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or equivalent experience a plus
  • 8 or more years of total experience, with at least 4 years in B2B product marketing, preferably at a company selling data, software, or technology products
  • Experience in the environmental monitoring, weather, geospatial, or adjacent data or technology sector is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and value propositions that hold up in competitive sales cycles
  • Strong analytical skills. Comfortable working with market data, win/loss analysis, and usage metrics to drive decisions
  • Proven track record of producing sales enablement materials that field teams actually use
  • Skilled communicator across formats: executive presentations, customer-facing copy, internal briefs, and long-form thought leadership
  • Practical, active fluency with AI tools applied to research, content development, competitive analysis, and workflow automation. Able to articulate where and why AI adds genuine leverage
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Experience in the environmental monitoring, weather, geospatial, or adjacent data or technology sector is strongly preferred

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability & 401k match of up to 3%.
  • This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States
