[Remote] Senior Sales Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives, drive technical strategy, and support public sector procurement processes while delivering tailored demos and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to drive technical strategy across public sector opportunities
- Lead discovery, deliver tailored demos, and run solution workshops for diverse stakeholders
- Design and execute PoCs/PoVs that clearly demonstrate business value
- Support public sector procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs)
- Position solutions around visibility, governance, cost optimization, and risk reduction
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful sales cycles and smooth post-sale transitions
Skills
- 5+ years in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar pre-sales role
- Experience supporting SLED, federal, or broader public sector customers
- Background selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or IT operations solutions
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, on-prem and cloud-native
- Familiarity with public sector procurement (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, contract vehicles)
- Ability to navigate long, complex sales cycles with a value-based approach (MEDDPICC or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences
- IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM)
- SaaS management or technology intelligence platforms
- Software licensing, governance, or compliance
- Cybersecurity or vulnerability management
- Experience selling into complex, multi-stakeholder environments
