Position Overview

arenaflex is currently hiring dedicated, customer-obsessed individuals to join our remote support team as Customer Experience Chat Specialists. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out through our live chat platform. You will handle inquiries related to flight bookings, reservation changes, cancellations, baggage policies, travel itineraries, loyalty programs, and a variety of other travel-related topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Customer Support: Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of customer inquiries through our live chat platform, delivering accurate information and friendly service with every interaction.
  • Booking and Reservation Management: Assist customers in searching for flights, comparing options, completing new bookings, modifying existing reservations, and processing cancellations or refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Travel Information Delivery: Provide clear and detailed answers regarding flight schedules, airport procedures, baggage allowances, seat selection, check-in processes, and loyalty program benefits.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints and service concerns with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to senior team members or specialized departments when appropriate.
  • Accurate Documentation: Log every customer interaction thoroughly in our CRM system, capturing key details, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required to ensure continuity of service.
  • Feedback Collection: Identify recurring customer pain points and communicate valuable insights to the broader team, helping arenaflex continuously refine its support experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with team leads, quality assurance specialists, and other departments to share knowledge, improve workflows, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Brand Representation: Uphold the voice, tone, and values of arenaflex and our partner brands in every conversation, ensuring a consistent and professional customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, business, tourism, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required, ideally in a remote, chat-based, call center, or online support environment.
  • Written Communication Skills: Exceptional written English skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and tone. You must be able to convey warmth, clarity, and professionalism through text alone.
  • Typing Proficiency: Ability to type at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously, including live chat tools, CRM systems, booking engines, and internal knowledge bases.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess a situation quickly and offer practical solutions.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple chat conversations at once while maintaining quality and meeting response time targets.
  • Reliable Home Setup: A quiet, dedicated workspace, high-speed internet connection, and a functioning computer that meets arenaflex's technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in the airline, travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industries.
  • Familiarity with customer support platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Freshdesk, or similar tools.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Mandarin, are a significant plus.
  • Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team environment.
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs, travel insurance, or visa and documentation requirements.
