Why This Role Matters

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the frontline voice for our policyholders. You’ll help existing customers maintain the coverage they need, answer critical questions about billing and policy details, and identify opportunities for additional protection or cost savings. Your ability to navigate multiple carrier platforms, deliver accurate information, and provide a seamless experience will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of arenaflex’s insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from existing policyholders in a fast‑paced, remote call‑center environment, handling multiple screens and systems simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of P&C insurance requirements, carrier guidelines, and state‑specific regulations across dozens of states.
  • Provide clear, courteous answers to questions related to coverage options, billing inquiries, policy history, and endorsements.
  • Proactively assess each customer’s evolving needs, offering tailored solutions that may include upselling, cross‑selling, policy rewrites, or re‑shop opportunities for better rates.
  • Process payments, update policy information, and submit endorsements accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain an in‑depth understanding of arenaflex’s proprietary software, product suite, and internal processes to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Achieve and sustain high call quality (QA) scores, adherence to process standards, and productivity metrics set by the organization.
  • Collaborate with in‑house insurance consultants to generate leads for additional coverage opportunities.
  • Document all interactions in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions, share best practices with teammates, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the broader goals of arenaxflex’s customer experience team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active P&C insurance license in the state where you reside (resident‑state license required).
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience within the non‑standard insurance market, preferably in a multi‑carrier or rating environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced call‑center setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when entering data and processing transactions.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the skill to explain complex insurance concepts in plain language.
  • Proficiency with multi‑screen navigation, ability to switch between carrier platforms, and comfort using CRM and policy management tools.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable home office environment that meets arenaflex’s security standards.
  • Self‑motivated attitude toward personal development; openness to coaching and continuous learning.
  • High energy, team‑oriented mindset, and a passion for achieving collective goals.
  • Familiarity with non‑owner policies, SR‑22, and FR‑44 state filings is a strong plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desired.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with insurance quoting systems and rating engines.
  • Ability to interpret and apply state‑specific insurance regulations quickly.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with a focus on turning challenges into opportunities for the customer.
  • Empathy and active listening, ensuring each caller feels heard and valued.
  • Sales acumen – comfortable identifying upsell and cross‑sell moments without being pushy.
  • Technical aptitude for learning new software platforms and updates.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with all industry and privacy regulations.
