As a Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Analyst within arenaflex’s Global Vendor and Organization Services (GV&OS) Revenue team, you will directly influence the company’s most significant revenue stream—merchant discount revenue. Your work will help ensure that merchant rebate programs are precisely tracked, analyzed, and optimized, driving both profitability and stronger merchant relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain monthly merchant rebate revenue reports for the Canada region, comparing actual performance against forecasts and identifying key drivers of variance.
- Develop and update merchant rebate revenue scorecards, providing clear visualizations of performance trends for senior leadership and regional stakeholders.
- Facilitate data normalization and communication across multiple regional pricing teams to ensure consistency in reporting and analysis.
- Support external audits by investigating identified issues, coordinating with regional pricing teams, and managing remediation actions.
- Conduct ad‑hoc data analyses to detect rebate rate fluctuations, uncover hidden insights, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate closely with finance, pricing, and merchant relationship teams to translate raw data into strategic recommendations.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions to guarantee auditability and repeatability.
- Continuously seek opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros, VBA, or other scripting tools, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in financial services, payments industry, or a related finance role.
