About The Role We are dedicated to cultivating resilient, innovative educators equipped to navigate the complexities of contemporary classrooms, particularly in diverse urban settings. We are currently seeking an adjunct instructor to join our team for the Summer semester of 2023. Please note that all positions for Summer will be conducted in a Remote Learning format. Position Overview Course Title: TEC 616 / 660 Student Teaching I Course Description: This course focuses on applying methodological principles and teaching practices gleaned from Curriculum and Instruction coursework. Participants engage in classroom observation, unit preparation, and instructional delivery. The curriculum involves two half-days per week (8 hours total) of observation and participation in elementary or secondary classrooms over a 12-week period, culminating in the development and teaching of at least one instructional unit. Additionally, the course includes a weekly on-campus seminar. Course Schedule: Tuesdays from 3:30-7:13, spanning from June 12th to July 28th.
Qualifications
An earned Master of Education degree. K-12 teaching experience. Relevant expertise in the field.
