Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Consultation

  • Engage customers with a friendly, solution‑oriented approach, using consultative techniques to uncover their unique requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on print, signage, graphics, and shipping options, recommending the most appropriate arenaflex products and services.
  • Handle complex orders, inputting accurate data into the order management system and delivering precise pricing information.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Production & Equipment Operations

  • Set up, operate, and maintain a range of printing, binding, and finishing equipment using customer‑supplied media.
  • Assemble parcels, wrap items in protective materials, weigh packages, and affix correct shipping labels.
  • Perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and restocking of equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Manage the production queue, prioritize tasks, and track project progress to meet delivery deadlines.

Store Management & Merchandising

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retail environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  • Stock retail supplies, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with the back‑office team to replenish materials.
  • Display merchandising materials attractively, ensuring product signage is up‑to‑date and visually appealing.
  • Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices and reinforcing arenaflex service standards.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Process transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, perform store close‑out procedures, and assist with bank deposits.
  • Safeguard confidential customer data, handling documents and media with the utmost care.
  • Follow arenaflex standard operating procedures, as well as legal, HR, and safety policies.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of specialized retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a print‑or‑shipping environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in plain language.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 55 lb, and perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience operating digital printers, large‑format plotters, or binding equipment.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design concepts or software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop).
  • Experience handling shipping logistics, including knowledge of carrier services and packaging standards.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets or contributing to store profitability.
  • Certification in occupational safety or customer‑service excellence.
