Role Summary

Reporting to the Senior Experience Design Lead, you will manage the end‑to‑end workflow of partner‑focused projects, from initial client discovery through concept development, design execution, and final delivery. Your responsibilities blend meticulous data management, strategic client communication, and creative support for design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Partnership Management: Build new relationships or nurture existing ones by understanding client DNA, business objectives, and target audiences.
  • Concept Development: Craft layered, visionary experience design proposals that win new business and deepen existing engagements.
  • Strategic Planning: Ideate long‑term experiential concepts that inspire clients to collaborate with arenaflex on future initiatives.
  • Pitch Toolkit Creation: Develop adaptable brand story frameworks that can be customized for each client or partnership.
  • Creative Support: Provide design direction across all workstreams, ensuring consistency with arenaflex’s brand standards while encouraging innovative thinking.
  • Design Thinking Facilitation: Lead workshops that move ideas from inspiration through vision, narrative, and ultimately to the consumer journey.
  • Cross‑Disciplinary Collaboration: Guide interdisciplinary discussions to unlock fresh approaches to brand activation.
  • Brand Language Development: Assist brand teams in defining experiential language through materials, finishes, lighting, sound, scent, and more.
  • Insight Translation: Communicate strategic insights and actionable recommendations to internal and external partners.
  • Project Ownership: Own the creative pipeline from brief to execution, balancing concept development with project management.
  • Design Presentation: Articulate design concepts—including typography, iconography, color palettes, and motion—clearly and persuasively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of visual fidelity and brand alignment.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with senior designers, copywriters, technologists, and external vendors to bring ideas to life.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on emerging trends in experiential design, digital media, and consumer behavior.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Brand Designer, Experience Designer, or in a comparable role within an agency or in‑house design team.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a breadth of experiential projects, brand activations, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals: layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Experience with digital design platforms, web layout, and emerging technologies such as AR/VR or interactive installations.
  • Solid grasp of UX/UI principles and the ability to translate brand narratives into seamless user experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Master’s degree or additional certifications in Interaction Design, Motion Graphics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with 3D rendering, prototyping tools (e.g., Rhino, SketchUp, Blender) and packaging design workflows.
  • Familiarity with print production processes, color management, and pre‑press requirements for packaging.
  • Background in brand strategy or marketing, providing a holistic view of how experiential design drives business results.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in design, especially as they relate to packaging and material selection.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fully remote environment, leveraging collaboration tools such as Slack, Miro, and Microsoft Teams.
