[Remote] Instructional Developer - Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Project Lead The Way is focused on enhancing educational programs, and they are seeking an Instructional Developer to create and refine instructional materials for their courses. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the programs while also making necessary modifications based on feedback and effectiveness monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials for PLTW courses, including teacher support resources and student-facing resources, in alignment with established requirements
- Revise existing instructional materials in response to changes in existing requirements
- Support successful implementation of programs in classrooms by responding to questions and requests from the field
- Review formative and assessment program components to ensure alignment with instructional goals
- Identify and recommend potential opportunities to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends within area of expertise
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in education or in a related field of study
- Pedagogical knowledge of project- and problem-based learning
- High School Engineering teaching experience required
