[Remote] VP/Director of Finance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alexander Technology Group is representing an Investment Fund seeking a VP of Finance to drive strategy and growth. This remote role focuses on coordinating financial operations, preparing forecasts, and supporting financial reporting for the fund and its portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external auditors, including Deloitte, and portfolio companies to support the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts for portfolio companies to support liquidity planning and funding decisions
- Draft and distribute funding communications and capital call-related emails to portfolio companies and stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio company funding needs and ensure companies receive appropriate and timely funding allocations
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for the fund and portfolio companies
- Review and approve bank transfers in accordance with internal controls and fund policies
- Assist with onboarding new portfolio companies into the fund, including operational setup and documentation coordination
- Maintain accurate financial records, reporting schedules, and supporting documentation
Skills
- CPA is required
- Need someone with a Tax background – this person will be working with Deloitte and the portfolio companies to file tax returns
- Financial Reporting
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Due Diligence/Compliance background
- M&A exposure
- VC/PE background would be very helpful
