[Remote] Machinist - Level 3 (CNC Grinder) 1st shift

They are seeking a Machinist - Level 3 to operate and maintain OD grinding machines, ensuring precision and quality in the manufacturing of cylindrical components while collaborating with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OD grinding machines to produce precision cylindrical parts according to specifications
• Set up grinding machines, including selecting and dressing grinding wheels, and adjusting machine controls
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish, making adjustments as necessary
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet production schedules and quality standards

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in operating OD grinding machines in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years experience in the knowledge of grinding techniques, machine setup, and maintenance
• 5+ years of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Technical diploma or certification in machining or manufacturing technology
• 3+ years of experience in grinding or precision machining roles
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principle
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Experience with safety standards and procedures related to grinding operations
