Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract position. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications and backend systems, while collaborating with various teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend systems
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs, integrations, and distributed architectures to ensure high reliability and performance
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, robust, and cloud-native solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and system design discussions
- Develop and deploy applications and services across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments
- Support DevOps initiatives by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and improving monitoring systems
Skills
- Have strong proficiency in software development using one or more modern programming languages
- Have hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure cloud platforms
- Possess knowledge of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation
- Have experience with NLP, LLM, and building AI-powered or data-driven systems
- Be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, with experience in frontend development being a plus
