[Remote] KSOP Senior Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blue Ridge Associates is a professional services firm specializing in third-party retirement plan administration services. They are seeking a KSOP Senior Administrator who will manage all aspects of retirement plan administration for an assigned group of plans, consult with plan sponsors, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of administration for an assigned block of plans
  • Consult with plan sponsors and advisors regarding plan related matters
  • Ability to read and interpret plan documents
  • Calculate employer contributions (including cross-tested contributions)
  • Perform all annual compliance testing
  • Calculate and process refunds (including 415 refunds)
  • Complete Form 5500, Form 5500-SFs, and Form 5330
  • Assist clients with the correction of operational issues

Skills

  • 5+ years of A-Z administration is required
  • Experience working 'unbundled' with national daily recordkeeping platforms is required
  • Experience with ASC, Relius, Datair, or FT Williams is required
  • ESOP/KSOP knowledge is required
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, details oriented, motivated
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to provide and maintain a distraction-free work environment, a professional workspace, and reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with Pension Pro is a plus, but not required
  • QKA professional designation is desired or willingness to obtain
