[Remote] Workday HCM Product Owner - Recruiting

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Applicantz is seeking a Workday HCM Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Workday HCM and Recruiting to support Talent Acquisition and People Services initiatives. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders and HR teams to optimize Workday processes, manage enhancements, and lead release activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical support teams
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritize enhancements, and drive delivery of business value
  • Lead Workday bi-annual release management activities, including impact assessments, testing coordination, and deployment readiness
  • Develop release communications and training materials for stakeholders and end users
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and recruiting processes through system enhancements
  • Ensure Workday configurations align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing system improvements and project initiatives

Skills

  • Active Workday Certifications in HCM and Recruiting
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Workday HCM
  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar functional role
  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, and HR business processes
  • Experience managing Workday releases, testing cycles, and change management activities
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday implementations and enhancements
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong background in release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process optimization
