[Remote] Sales Director
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OpenMatter Network is building a decentralized, privacy-preserving compute layer that enables secure collaboration across science, AI, and finance. The Sales Director will lead the end-to-end sales cycle, define and execute the go-to-market strategy, and build a high-performing sales team while maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering product demonstrations, developing proposals, and closing strategic deals with organizations in science, AI, and finance
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team
- Develop scalable sales processes and metrics
- Collaborate closely with leadership, product, and marketing teams to align commercial efforts with product roadmap and market opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Gather market feedback
- Represent OpenMatter Network at industry events and with enterprise stakeholders
Skills
- Proven expertise in Sales and Business Development, including pipeline management, deal negotiation, and strategic account growth
- Experience in Sales Operations, such as forecasting, reporting, CRM management, and building scalable sales processes
- Strong background in Customer Service, with a focus on long-term relationship management, customer satisfaction, and retention
- Demonstrated Team Management skills, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Experience selling technical or SaaS solutions, ideally in data infrastructure, AI, cryptography, or privacy-enhancing technologies
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-focused language to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort operating in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with a hands-on, outcome-oriented approach
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
