Learn more at www.stradaglobal.com The role: HR&Payroll Specialist Key responsibilities: Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing of an accurate and timely payroll. Displays decision-making skills that support company and payroll policies. Key responsibilities: Independently process payroll from end to end according the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasks Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate BI tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and all associated activities Be able to understand and interpret a payslip Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information Produce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needs Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrections per the defined standards Answer payroll related questions and requests Support and execute SOC1 Controls Maintain and apply defined work instructions (DWIs) Perform Transactions with Third parties Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process Support and manage system maintenance testing Support technical issue coordination and resolution Maintains current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll procedures Participates in projects as needed and assigned by payroll team leader Key Criteria to monitor performance Adherence to all Security and Compliance procedures 100% Attainment of customer SLA agreements Adherence to quality standards Demonstrate professionalism and act responsibly Strada Core Competencies Be Accountable - Take advantage of the World of Opportunity and demonstrate personal responsibility and eagerness to explore & acquire the necessary skills. Ensure work can be carried out in a repeatable, scalable way Professional / Job Experience Strong knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal skills Self-motivated and a willingness to learn Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently while adhering to processes and procedures Academic Degree Education and Training Essential BA/BS in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education & experience 2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.
