Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Reporting & Analytics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting systems, analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to create unified data sets for analysis. Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large data sets. Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics that align with organizational goals. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, documentation, and data governance standards. Automate recurring reports and analytics processes to improve efficiency. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting outputs. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies. Experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices. Experience in a defense, aerospace, or government contracting environment. Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting.
