Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for executing existing reporting and analytical tasks while contributing to the development of new analytical capabilities. Your primary duties will include:

  • Reporting and Analysis Execution (30%): Execute existing reporting and analytical responsibilities with precision and timeliness. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating recurring reports, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering analytical outputs that meet established quality standards. This includes working with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translating those requirements into reliable, automated solutions.
  • Dashboard and Report Development (20%): Utilize data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc visualizations that address evolving business questions. You will leverage modern BI tools to develop interactive dashboards that enable business users to explore data independently. This includes designing intuitive data visualizations that communicate complex findings in accessible, easily understood formats.
  • Quality Assurance and Attention to Detail (20%): Ensure the quality of all work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail. You will implement rigorous quality checks to validate data accuracy, identify anomalies, and ensure analytical conclusions are supported by robust evidence. Your commitment to quality will help maintain trust in analytical deliverables across the organization.
  • Technical Skill Development (20%): Develop additional technical expertise and subject matter mastery within the core functional team. This includes continuously upgrading existing technical skills in areas such as SQL scripting, statistical analysis, and machine learning fundamentals. You will actively pursue learning opportunities to expand your analytical toolkit and stay current with industry best practices.
  • Insight Communication (10%): Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the bigger picture. You will translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Effective communication and the ability to tell compelling data stories will be essential to your success in this role.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation in analytical methods, statistics, or data science.
