Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to: Business Strategy & Executive Decision Review

  • Review consulting-style scenarios involving corporate strategy, growth planning, market entry, competitive positioning, and executive decision-making
  • Evaluate strategic outputs against source materials, business objectives, analytical logic, market assumptions, and documented review criteria
  • Support structured review of issue trees, business cases, executive memos, strategy decks, market analyses, and recommendation summaries
  • Identify missing assumptions, weak logic, unclear recommendations, and expected strategy review outcomes

Market, Financial & Operational Analysis

  • Review scenarios involving market sizing, financial analysis, operational diagnostics, performance improvement, commercial assessment, and business model evaluation
  • Evaluate analytical materials against business drivers, financial inputs, operational constraints, and defined project requirements
  • Support structured review of models, benchmarks, KPI summaries, operating plans, diligence-style materials, and business performance analyses
  • Prepare clear written explanations for consulting conclusions based on source materials and verifiable criteria

Benchmark, Evaluation & Structured Feedback

  • Review and validate consulting-focused benchmark tasks for realism, accuracy, and analytical quality
  • Annotate or assess outputs across business strategy, market analysis, organizational design, operations improvement, corporate finance, and executive advisory use cases
  • Provide structured feedback on reasoning quality, framework use, business judgment, and communication clarity
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work

Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have:

  • Experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business advisory, operations consulting, commercial diligence, transformation, or related analytical roles
  • Strong structured problem-solving skills and comfort working with ambiguous business questions
  • Background in one or more areas such as growth strategy, market entry, competitive analysis, operational improvement, financial analysis, corporate strategy, or executive advisory
  • Comfort reading and preparing consulting artifacts such as strategy decks, issue trees, executive memos, market analyses, workplans, business cases, and recommendation summaries
  • Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate consulting workflows into clear, structured task documentation

Educational Background

  • A degree or professional background in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, public policy, statistics, management, or a related analytical field is helpful
  • MBA or advanced degree is helpful
  • Equivalent practical experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, transformation, or advisory work is also highly relevant

Nice to Have

  • Experience at MBB, Big Four advisory, Tier 2 consulting firms, boutique strategy firms, corporate strategy teams, or executive advisory environments
  • Familiarity with consulting frameworks, MECE structuring, issue trees, market sizing, financial analysis, operational diagnostics, and executive communication standards
  • Experience preparing or reviewing client decks, business cases, strategic roadmaps, diligence materials, market models, or steering committee presentations
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, dashboarding, stakeholder communication, and executive storytelling skills
  • Strong attention to detail in analysis-heavy, client-facing, and decision-oriented consulting environments
