Purchasing Officer
An exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, family-run business as part of our purchasing team, responsible for sourcing wholesale business consumables, including cleaning supplies, janitorial products, and PPE safety equipment. Enjoy working with a diverse range of suppliers and products in a dynamic role! Key Requirements: · Previous purchasing experience is essential. · Excellent English communication skills are a must. Role Responsibilities: · Managing purchase requisition worksheets and generating orders based on supplier minimum configurations. · Ensuring orders are sent promptly and within required timelines. · Identifying out-of-stock items from suppliers and proactively researching alternative suppliers to place orders. · Updating the system with accurate pricing, codes, and other relevant details. · Receiving and processing stock deliveries. · Assisting with other procurement-related tasks as needed. Work Schedule: Starting time: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Manila time Benefits: Paid training Work from home Day shift Monday to Friday 13 month pay, PLUS Quarterly Fee allowance, PLUS Paid Overtime, PLUS paid holidays. Requirements · The ideal candidate will be confident and personable on the phone, with strong English communication skills, capable of following up on emailed orders and liaising with Australian companies to place orders and inquire about ETAs. · Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav or Business Central is a plus. · Accuracy in data entry is essential for updating inventory with new items and receipting stock. · The successful candidate will possess excellent procurement and sourcing skills and demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities.
