Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry and validation tasks for privacy‑related datasets, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Legal, Security, Product, and Operations—to interpret privacy requirements and embed them into daily workflows.
  • Maintain and update data protection documentation, such as Data Processing Inventories, Consent Records, and Incident Response Logs.
  • Conduct routine audits of data handling practices, flagging inconsistencies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory bodies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and internal governance committees.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders at all levels, translating technical privacy concepts into understandable language.
  • Support the implementation and testing of privacy‑enhancing technologies (PETs) and vendor solutions.
  • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that increase efficiency while maintaining strict data protection standards.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Must Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data‑focused or privacy‑related role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data protection and privacy regulations across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from technical engineers to senior executives.
