IT Business Analyst - Full remote - Contractor in USD

For an international organization in Valencia, Spain, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote IT Business Analyst with at least 4 years of relevant experience writing clear and brief user stories, acceptance test cases, writing technical specifications and knowledge of relational databases, data modelling, data structures and SQL Scripting (SQL, MYSQL, Oracle). Candidates need to be willing to work normal office hours (8:00 to 16.30 CET) in Valencia. This positions is long-term. Tasks and responsabilities: • Collaborate with other ICT teams to develop and implement technology solutions in alignment with IT product roadmaps; • Analyze functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes and/or IT projects; • Translate business requirements into technical user stories and communicate with vendors to clarify business/technical requirements; • Articulate interfaces with enterprise data sources; • Test new... releases/versions of software by writing acceptance test cases; • Write database queries and build ad-hoc reports/models using SSRS or Microsoft Power BI to extract insight for the community; • Roll-out new releases using DevOps pipelines; • Document system functionality and keep system documentation updated; • Track, monitor and analyze performance and production issues, and implement enhancements; • Troubleshoot software system issues; • Provide problem solving assistance to system users and team members; Profile: • Bachelor or Master degree; • +4 years of experience as IT Business Analyst (user stories, sprints, acceptance tests); • Write clear and brief user stories, acceptance test cases, writing technical specifications in a platform like Azure DevOps; • Build wireframes/light weight prototypes; • Knowledge in relational databases, data modelling, data structures and SQL Scripting (SQL, MYSQL, Oracle); • Knowledge of Data architecture; ETL development and business intelligence tools, techniques, and technologies; experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics solutions and experience developing complex reports is an advantage; • Functional/Exploratory and automated testing; • Drupal portal configuration; • Azure DevOps pipelines; • Reporting tools (SSRS and Power BI); • ServiceNow; • Fluent in English; Interested: Please send your resume to [email protected] Apply Job!
