[Remote] Director, Business Development
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Claritas is a company focused on maintaining and supporting their SPOTLIGHT business and clients. The Director of Business Development will grow the business by prospecting new clients, protect the base renewal business, and provide support to SPOTLIGHT clients.
Responsibilities
- Grow the business by prospecting new clients and logos for Claritas
- Protect the base renewal business and provide support to SPOTLIGHT clients
- Upsell clients with new solutions to grow revenue
- Maintain active involvement with Account Managers, SMEs, and Product Teams to ensure internal alignment and client satisfaction
- Participate in industry and company learning to expand skills, knowledge, and capabilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong sales experience, proven record of quota attainment. Strong command of sales processes
- Marketing Services, Marketing and Advertising Technology, Agency, or related field experience
- Command of Digital marketing concepts and firm understanding of the digital partner ecosystem
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent collaborative and influencing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
- Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of acquisition email, digital and social campaigns
- Channel sales/third party partner management
- Working knowledge of third-party licensing and royalty/revenue share business models
- Experience with Sales and Marketing automation tools and environments such as Salesforce
