[Remote] Senior Full Stack Integration Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Integration Engineer to lead a new team that builds integrations for mission-critical software and systems, ensuring seamless connectivity across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between C2 systems, communications platforms, and related infrastructure
- Build full-stack solutions spanning backend services, APIs, SDKs, and front-end interfaces that support commercial integration needs
- Build and extend open-source SDKs, ensuring they are reliable, well-documented, and easy to use
- Engage with and support the open-source developer community, fostering adoption, feedback, and contribution
- Model and design high-level abstractions that enable interoperability across diverse systems
- Collaborate with Product, Platform, Autonomy, Cloud, Commercial, and customer-facing teams to deliver integration solutions aligned with mission and customer needs
- Translate complex customer, program, and technical requirements into scalable integration architectures
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal standards and best practices for integration architecture, full-stack development, and community-facing SDK development
- Own integrations end to end, from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, validation, deployment, and support
Skills
- 7+ years of senior-level software engineering experience, with a track record of owning complex projects end to end
- Strong programming experience in Go and Python
- Full-stack development experience, including modern front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript, alongside backend services
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing system integrations, including APIs, SDKs, communications interfaces, or distributed software systems
- Ability to model high-level abstractions and design integration architectures across complex systems
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, and containerized environments, including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ownership, technical judgment, and ability to operate in ambiguity
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Background in mission systems, C2 platforms, distributed communication systems, or customer-facing integration environments
- Experience building commercial or customer-facing software products
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
- Familiarity with data serialization formats such as JSON, Protobuf, or CBOR
- Familiarity with messaging and communication protocols such as MQTT, gRPC, or DDS
- Knowledge of defense, maritime autonomy, robotics, or other complex multi-system domains
- Experience building developer tools, SDKs, API platforms, or integration frameworks
- Experience working in high-growth startup, defense technology, or mission-critical software environments
